SPACE TRANSFORMING RUGS

A BEAUTIFUL RUG CAN REALLY TRANSFORM A SPACE, DEFINE LIVING AREAS AND BRING FOCUS TO THE CHOSEN COLOUR PALETTE AND INSPIRATION FOR A ROOM.

HERE WE’VE PUT TOGETHER A SELECTION THAT WE THINK ARE FANTASTIC, EACH WITH THEIR OWN IDENTITY AND FEEL THAT WILL ENHANCE YOUR CHOSEN SPACE.

Etched by Hare+Klein designer Eloise Fotheringham for Designer Rugs

This eclectic design is unexpected and very natural, bringing line and texture to the room without being repetitive. Fotheringham was originally inspired by the threads and knots of rope and used a series of layering processes to get the design looking just right.

Connected by Caroline Yuen for Designer Rugs

Simple and geometric, this design has gorgeous use of colour in a subtle way, making the line a stand out feature.
What we love about this is the way the abstracted line could be placed in a room and read in any direction and the fluidity of the line will create interest, generating discussion amongst family and friends.

Round Diamond by Emma Elizabeth for Designer Rugs

Another geometric rug, this is a beautiful fragmentation of colour displayed in a round format.
The pattern here is reminiscent of jewels refracting the light will add luxurious style to your space.

Made from Wool and art silk, this black and white rug is an artwork in itself. Look closely at Banff from Artisan Flooring and you will see the texture and line detail that moves toward the edge of the rug. Step back and in the expanse of a room this rug will be a strong statement in natural fibres.

Marcel Wanders Festival Inferno from ECC Lighting & Furniture

Produced with cutting edge chromojet print technology, Festival Inferno is a kaleidoscope of colour with incredible detail. This design is is exciting as it also come in a broadloom for wall to wall installation. We look forward to selecting this for a project.

KNOT collection by Roda from David Shaw

As it’s summer we thought what a great time to feature these new outdoor rugs made from polypropylene. Outdoor fabrics can sometimes feel hard and unwelcoming but the collection by Roda are soft to touch and look beautiful in our New Zealand light.
